We offer some of the most known surfing destinations in Europe, the beaches of the Basque Country or the neighbourhoods of Lisbon.

PORTUGUESE + SURF 

 

Lisbon –  CIAL Centro de Linguas

General Portuguese course of 15 lessons per week + 5 or10 Surf lessons in the afternoons

The surf lessons take place on the beaches around Lisbon and are organized by a partner surf school.

Students are driven to and from the beach, in an activity that takes around 2,5h . Transportation, equipment (wetsuit and surf board) and insurance are included.

Minimum duration: 2 weeks

Prices: 2 weeks programme Portuguese + Surf:  € 724 (5 surf lessons) , 4 weeks programme Portuguese + Surf:  € 1.252 (10 surf lessons)

 

SPANISH + SURF 

San Sebastian – Lacunza

The surfing course is an addition to the other Spanish courses (5 surf lessons a week)

It is taught Monday to Friday, 1 hour daily lessons under the instruction of an expert. All materials are provided (board, wetsuit, insurance). The class usually begins at14:30 (this may vary). The first class consist of some dry land theory followed by initiation to the water.

Minimum duration: 1 week

Price: 88 € per week (+ the price of the Spainsh course)

FLAMENCO + SPANISH

FLAMENCO is a genuine Spanish art, and to be more exact a genuine Andalusian art. It includes cante (singing), toque (guitar playing), baile (dance) and palmas (handclaps). Flamenco dance, Baile, is a highly-expressive, solo dance characterized by hand clapping, percussive footwork, and intricate hand, arm and body movements.

Flamenco is often associated with the Romani people of Spain (Gitanos) and a number of famous flamenco artists are of this ethnicity. But also the popular songs and dances of Andalusia as well as other cultures have influenced early Flamenco considerably.

In 2010 UNESCO declared flamenco one of the Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity.

Barcelona – Camino Barcelona

20 Spanish classes + 3-5 flamenco classes / week

The flamenco classes take place in a nearby dance academy which specializes in flamenco dancing. You can choose between 3 and 5 Flamenco lessons per week.

Minimum duration: 1 week

Price: 320 € (1 week Spanish + 5 classes of flamenco), included registration fee.

SALSA + SPANISH

SALSA is a popular form of social dance that originated in New York with strong influences from Latin America, particularly Cuba and Puerto Rico. Salsa takes inspiration from many different styles and in various locations developed under different influences. Hence,  many of its varieties were born. Salsa in Cuba (salsa cubana) was created as a combination of dance sou from the Cuban Rumba. Salsa in Puerto Rico, grew up under the influence of local dances.

20 Spanish classes + 5 salsa classes / week

Levels: beginner A1 to advanced C2

The salsa classes take place in a dance academy situated nearby, where you will learn the version of salsa called ‘Salsa Cubana en Rueda de Casino’

Price: 300 € (1 week Spanish course + 5 Salsa classes), registration fee included.

COOKING + SPANISH

Spain is a country of a great and varied cuisine.

When coming for a visit, you’re be able to discover the exquisite and typical dishes of each region, like paella in Valencia, „pescaito frito” in the southern coast, the famous miniature canapés known as ‘pintxos’ in the north and some of the best wines in the world. While wine is the national drink,  in some northern regions other drinks are very popular, as in the case of cider.

We popose you to learn aboout the cuisine of the Basque Country as it is probably the most important gastronomic destination in Spain. A coastal and border region, which varied culinary delights are due to the mixture of sea and mountain cultures with modern top-quality cooking.

In San Sebastian,  the focal point of the city is its old town – packed with lively bars and delicious restaurants – it is often referred to as the gastro capital of Spain.

 

Spanish and Cooking Course in San Sebastian – Lacunza School

Our school in San Sebastian collaborates with the Basque Culinary Centre, a pioneer in the world of gastronomy. Thanks to this partnership you have the opportunity to participate in a culinary course taught in Spanish (English is available on request). The course lasts one week and consists of 3 x 3 hour cooking classes. Each class is ended by a tasting session.

PRICE: 168€ / 3 days (in additon to the cost of the Spanish language course)

Italian course + cooking – Tricolore school

– 20 hours group course and 2 cooking classes a week (1 to 12 weeks)

Price: 330 € (1 weeks), 550€ (2 weeks), 770€ (3 weeks).
