About the center
Study Spanish in Alicante with Proyecto Español, a school located in the beautiful coastal city of Alicante, on the famous Costa Blanca in southeastern Spain. Our school is situated in a quiet residential area, just a few streets away from the Central Market of Alicante and only a short walk from a variety of cafes, restaurants, shops, and supermarkets. You’ll also have easy access to many of the city’s main attractions, such as Castell de Sant Ferran, Castell de la Santa Bárbara, the Museum of Contemporary Art of Alicante (MACA), and much more.
We’ve been offering Spanish courses in Alicante since 1998, providing a unique learning experience in a welcoming and culturally rich environment. Additionally, as an official DELE exam center, you’ll be able to certify your Spanish level while enjoying your stay in this vibrant city.

Our courses
A theoretical-practical course of 3 hours per day, Monday to Friday, covering grammatical, functional, lexical, and discourse content, applied practically in common-use contexts and communicative situations relevant to learning Spanish. This course practices all skills, both oral and written. It is taught with a communicative methodology focused on action, active student participation, and the development of learning strategies.
This theoretical-practical course covers, in its first part, grammatical, functional, lexical, and discourse content, applied practically in common-use contexts and communicative situations relevant to learning Spanish. All skills, both oral and written, are practiced in this course. It is taught with a communicative methodology focused on action, active student participation, and the development of learning strategies. In its second part, the course combines the practice of oral skills in communicative situations with content related to common usage, along with socio-cultural references from the Spanish-speaking world, fostering oral interaction both in and outside the classroom. Additionally, the course includes content on pronunciation, colloquial language, idiomatic expressions, proverbs, and more.
This course consists of 5 hours per day, Monday to Friday.
This course consists of 5 hours per day in group classes and 1 hour of private lessons with a teacher. It is designed to practice grammatical concepts, vocabulary, and communicative functions, as well as oral interaction, conversation, and cultural aspects from a communicative perspective.
Additionally, it offers the opportunity to improve and deepen certain contents and resolve doubts in a personalized way during the private lesson, where the student will have a private teacher.
This course can be recognized as “Bildungsurlaub” in several states in Germany: Berlin, Brandenburg, Bremen, Hamburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, and Saarland.
This course consists of 5 hours per day in group classes and 2 hours of private lessons with a teacher. It is designed to practice grammatical concepts, vocabulary, and communicative functions, as well as oral interaction, conversation, and cultural aspects from a communicative perspective.
Additionally, with 2 hours of private lessons, this course offers the opportunity to improve any aspect of the language, deepen any content, and resolve doubts in a personalized way.
This course can be recognized as “Bildungsurlaub” in several states in Germany: Berlin, Brandenburg, Bremen, Hamburg, Hesse, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Lower Saxony, Rhineland-Palatinate, Saarland, and Schleswig-Holstein.
Accommodation
Shared Apartments
If you choose the apartment option, you will share the flat with other students from the school, of any age or nationality. We always try to ensure a mix of affinity and diversity. In addition to your own room with a wardrobe for your belongings and a study desk, all accommodations have common spaces: kitchen, living room, and bathroom.
The apartments are fully equipped to make your daily life easy and comfortable. All our apartments have a washing machine.
Just remember that you need to bring your own sheets and towels, and you will be responsible for shopping, cooking, and cleaning.
Family Stay
We offer the option of living with a Spanish family, where your immersion in the Spanish language and culture will be total, both inside and outside the classroom. The families we work with welcome our students as one of their own.
All families provide WIFI internet and will provide you with bed linen and towels, as well as wash your clothes and prepare your meals.

Maximum group size: 10 students
Minimum stay: 1 week
Minimum age: 16 years old (Courses for adults)
The course fee includes: instructional materials, a level placement test, and a participation certificate.
Public holidays in Alicante: January 1st; March 19th; April 18th; May 1st; June 24th; August 15th; October 13th; December 8th. Dates may vary.
Our schools are closed on public holidays and during the Christmas holidays from December 22nd, 2025 to December 28th, 2025.
