We are committed to finding excellent accommodation options for a variety of budgets and preferences. There are different options for students to choose from, but we cannot always guarantee them. The number of rooms is limited by the availability of our partners, and we cannot guarantee accommodation for every student.
Shared Apartment
An excellent option for students who want to experience authentic living with a Portuguese family. Students will have the opportunity to experience the daily life of a Portuguese family and receive the best advice from the locals. After all, the best way to learn a language is by living within its culture!
Student Residences
Student residences are an excellent option when studying Portuguese in Lisbon. They will allow you to have your own private room, but also share the rest of the building with other students from Lusa or other schools or universities.

The course is always guaranteed even if it does not meet the minimum number of students; however, the number of hours may be reduced.
Holidays
Closing and Public Holidays
a) Lusa will not refund missed lessons due to public holidays or teacher absences, but will compensate for the lost time by scheduling a replacement class.
b) Lusa will be closed during the Christmas holidays in December (the dates will be determined annually by the school). Additionally, the school will be closed on all Portuguese national public holidays.
c) If Lusa needs to close unexpectedly, we will make efforts to reschedule the affected classes.

Activities
We want our students not only to learn Portuguese but also to understand the culture and history of our country. That’s why we organize weekly activities to some of our most famous monuments and museums. Located in the city center, you can easily reach many places on foot or in just a few minutes by bus or metro.
These activities vary from week to week:
- Visit the beautiful Castelo de São Jorge or the Monastery of Jerónimos;
- Learn new skills through Portuguese cooking classes;
- Visit a garden and have a picnic in it;
- Go to Belém to learn more about the Age of Discoveries and eat some Pastéis;
- Visit museums around the city to learn more about Portuguese culture and history.
