About the center
Take your Italian course in Milazzo with Laboling, the Italian school in Sicily, founded in 1994 and recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education. The school is open all year round.
Location: The school is situated in Milazzo, Sicily, in the old town, not far from the port to the Aeolian Islands and the Cathedral. Our classrooms are well-lit and equipped with air conditioning ❄️. Students can use the school’s internet point for free .
Courses and Levels:
The levels and content of our Italian courses meet the standards set by the Council of Europe and the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The courses are divided into six levels:
- A1 – A2 (Beginner)
- B1 – B2 (Intermediate)
- C1 – C2 (Advanced).

Our courses
Intensive Course
This course is ideal for those who wish to learn Italian in a relaxed and friendly environment, alongside students from different nationalities. We use the communicative method, without neglecting grammar, while focusing on developing the four main communication skills:
Reading
Writing
Speaking
Listening
Small classes (5-6 students) allow teachers to monitor each student’s progress more easily.
General Course Schedule
4 daily lessons of 45 minutes will take place within the following possible time slots:
Morning: 9:00 – 12:30
The exact schedule will be assigned on the first day of class, according to your level.
Intensive Plus Course
The Intensive Plus Course (6 lessons per day) is designed to attract students of all levels.
This course is tailored for those who wish to fully immerse themselves in language learning by adding two additional lessons per day to the Standard Course.
The Intensive Plus Course is also recognized by Bildungsurlaub.
General Course Schedule
6 daily lessons of 45 minutes will take place within the following possible time slots:
Morning: 9:00 – 12:30
Afternoon: 13:00 – 14:30
Start Dates for 2025: The course begins on January 13, February 10, March 10, April 7, May 5, June 3, June 30, July 28, August 25, September 22, October 20, and November 17, 2025.
50+ Course
The 50+ Course is specially designed for those over 50 years old who want to learn Italian in a relaxed environment while enjoying a pleasant vacation in Sicily.
Lessons are held every morning from Monday to Friday in classes with students of all ages.
Expect a diverse program of activities and excursions in the afternoons, all tailored for those over 50, including visits to historically and culturally significant sites, a cooking course, and many other exciting new experiences.
General Course Schedule
4 daily lessons of 45 minutes will take place within the following possible time slots:
Morning: 9:00 – 12:30
Start Dates for 2025: The course starts on March 10, May 5, and September 22, 2025.

Boat trips: From early summer to late autumn, the school organizes boat trips so you can admire the natural beauty of the Milazzo Peninsula from the sea. We usually make a stop so you can enjoy a swim far from the shore.
Cooking: An informal and fun afternoon dedicated to discovering the secrets of Italian food and cuisine. Learn how to prepare typical Sicilian dishes while enjoying a good wine and the company of other students.
CineLaboling: One afternoon a week is dedicated to Italian cinema, with the screening of a movie: from timeless classics to the most recent productions.
A journey through Italian cinema: Study Italian through cinema. This engaging lesson focuses on selected scenes, followed by a linguistic analysis.
An invitation to read: This lesson is designed for those who love reading and want to discover more about Italian literature. Each session is dedicated to a different author.
Talking with your hands: A fun seminar on the famous Italian gestures and how to use them correctly. Because in Italy, hands also speak! ✋
