Our courses
Standard course
Designed for anyone who wants to learn Italian in small groups. The standard Italian courses start every Monday, and the groups are organized according to capacity. During the course, we focus on the four language skills (speaking, writing, reading, and listening) and highlight topics of cultural interest.
General course schedule
4 daily lessons of 45 minutes will take place within the following possible time slots. The exact schedule will be assigned on the first day of class according to your level:
Morning: 9:00 – 12:00
Combined italian course
The combined course is designed for students who want to learn Italian and combine group classes with individual study. As a student, you are entitled to one study unit per day in addition to the standard course. You can choose grammar, culture, vocabulary, or another special area of study. The combined Italian courses are also ideal for those who want to prepare for the CELI exams.
General course schedule
5 daily lessons of 45 minutes will take place within the following possible time slots. The exact schedule will be assigned on the first day of class according to your level:
Morning: 9:00 – 12:00
Afternoon: 12:45 – 13:30
Intensive italian course
Our intensive course is a serious and practical curriculum that combines the standard Italian courses with two additional units of group Italian classes per day. During these extra hours, we focus on business, culture, and practices. This course is accepted by German institutions as meeting the standards for Bildungsurlaub.
General course schedule
6 daily lessons of 45 minutes will take place within the following possible time slots. The exact schedule will be assigned on the first day of class according to your level:
Morning: 9:00 – 12:00
Afternoon: 12:45 – 14:15
Club 60+
The Club 60+ program is designed for mature students who want to dedicate two weeks to an Italian language course alongside a rich leisure activity program. Discover the flavors, history, art, and landscapes of Sicily! The program includes leisure activities, a standard course, and the guarantee that all classmates will be of the same age.

Accommodation
Solemar Academy is delighted to offer a wide range of accommodation options in Cefalù. Here in Cefalù, we have worked tirelessly to find a range of accommodations that, in our experience, provides a quality option for the needs of almost any student. Shared accommodation is the ideal choice for making friends here. The rooms are located either in Villa Caterina or in the immediate vicinity. We offer single and double rooms (which can only be booked as a couple).
THE SPACES
Each apartment has a bathroom, a kitchen, a common living area, a terrace or balcony, and two or three bedrooms. All guests can enjoy open access to the garden of Villa Caterina, where you can take advantage of shaded areas, a solarium, a vegetable garden, a chicken run, and a duck pond (and if you’re lucky, even fresh eggs), fruit trees, and a large lawn where you can relax. In the garden, you will also find a drinking water fountain, a ping-pong table, and beach equipment.
Every apartment includes a TV, a washing machine, air conditioning, wireless internet, and everything you need for a comfortable stay of any length.
LOCATION
The shared accommodations are located in the upper part of the city (see map). The beautiful old town center is just a 10-minute walk away. The return trip is uphill but shouldn’t present a problem for anyone used to walking. Solemar Academy Italian language school is just 900 meters away.
