Our partner school in Granada was founded in 1997 and since then has welcomed students from all over the world. It is located in the centre of Granada, in the beautiful Albayzin quarter, just 1 minute from Plaza Nueva and 5 minutes from the famous Alhambra and Calle Elvira.

The school is in a renovated traditional building at the foot of the Albaicín, and has 3 floors set around an interior patio.On the 2nd and 3rd floors there are fully-equipped on-site apartments for our students so they can have priviledged location and live in the same building where the classes take place. On the first floor there are classrooms and a computer lab with free Internet connection. On the ground floor is the language school office, the library, other classrooms and a patio where the students meet for their activities.

Activities and excursions

Our partner school organises daily activities that offer a deep insight into Spanish way of life. They provide the chance to get to know Granada and the surrounding countryside in terms of its history, culture and tradition.

The organization of activities is free of charge, but you will have to pay the entrance or transportation fee when applicable.

Activities may include:

• Parties and meals with an Andalusian/Spanish flavour.
• Guided visits to The Alhambra and Generalife, Granada Cathedral, The Cartuja, The Royal Chapel, Sacromonte Abbey, The Albayzín.
• Tapas bar and Flamenco evenings are enjoyed by all our students.
• Sevillian and Flamenco dance classes in Granada.
• Lectures and chats on literature, history, art, etc.
• Visits to the market in Granada accompanied by a teacher.
• Spanish and Latin-American films.

During the weekends trips are organized to some places of interest like: Seville, Córdoba, Málaga, The Alpujarras, Sierra Nevada, the caves of Guadix or the beaches of the Costa Tropical.

Standard intensive course

• 20 lessons per week, 4 classes a day
• The course consists of 20 lessons of Spanish in groups, 4 classes a day Monday to Friday.
• Levels: A1 – C2
• Minimum Course duration: 2 weeks

Combined course

• 20 group lessons + 5 individual lessons per week ; 5 classes a day
• The course consists of group course 20 classes + 5 extra individual classes on a topic chosen by the student per week. 5 classes a day, Monday to friday.
• Levels: A1 – C2
• Minimum Course duration: 2 weeks

DELE Preparation Course

• (20 general classes + 10 DELE classes/week)  6 classes a day
• This course prepares the student to obtain the ”Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera” (D.E.L.E.) carried out by the Instituto Cervantes. This is complementary course to the Intensive Course (you will have 4 general Spanish language classes daily plus 2 D.E.L.E preparation classes per day)
• Levels: A1 – C2
• Groups: maximum of 5 students per class in DELE classes
• Course duration: 2 – 8 weeks

Business course

• 20 group lessons + 10 business lessons per week ; 6 classes a day
• The course consists of group course 20 + two extra lessons on specific topics related to business a day. 6 classes a day, Monday to Friday.
• Levels: B1 – C2
• Groups: maximum of 5 students per class in business Spanish classes
• Course duration: 2, 3 or 4 weeks

FLAMENCO DANCE COURSE

• Levels: Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced
• Classes: 2 classes daily given in the evenings, from Monday to Thursday, 8 classes a week

FLAMENCO GUITAR COURSE

• Levels: Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced
• Classes: any number
• Number of attendants: from 1
• 1 class equals 45 minutes

Common notes:

• Duration of Spanish lesson unit: 45 minutes
• Minimum age of students for group courses is 16.
• Intensive Spanish courses are held in the morning: 10.00-10.45, 10.45-11.30, 12.00-12.45 and 12.45-13.30 h. Sometimes Intensive Spanish courses can also be held in the afternoon.

Spanish host family

Living in a homestay provides a friendly and comfortable home for students during their stay in Granada, and great exposure to the Spanish language and culture.

All of our host families have years of experience hosting foreign students. Single rooms are available or double if you are travelling with family/friend. This is option that includes half board (breakfast and lunch or dinner).

Apartments shared with international students

Room in an apartment shared with other international students of the school. Single rooms are available or double if you are travelling with family/friend.

The apartments are comfortable and spacious, have fully equipped communal kitchens, bathrooms with hot water, washing machine and sitting rooms. Many have a patio or balcony. Bedding is provided, but bath towels are not.  The price includes electricity, water and gas and normally also free WIFI.
If you like to get to know people from all over the world of different ages, cultures and interests, then this is the option for you.

Apartments shared with Spaniards

You can stay in shared accommodation with Spaniards. This gives you the perfect opportunity to practice your Spanish! Kitchen and living room are shared areas.
This is an option for students who stay for minimum  6 weeks.

Private Flat

The flat is located in one of the most beautiful areas of the city at the feet of the Alhambra. The flat is on the ground floor of a typical building in the Albaycin area. It boasts a large kitchen-diner (with a sofa bed), a fully equipped kitchen, one bedroom with a double bed, another with a single bed and two bathrooms.

Common notes:

All accommodation options are counted from Sunday before the course start to Saturday after the course. If needed, additional nights can be arranged upon availability.

The flats are in the centre of Granada, normally between 1 and 10 minutes walking distance from the language school. Spanish families may live up to 20 minutes walking distance away from the school.
