The school is located in a renewed building in the heart of the city centre, in the most important commercial street in Porto. The famous charming river district, Ribeira is 15 minutes walking from the school, and to the São Bento train station you can get in 10 minutes.

The school emphasises the teaching method based on communication. It privileges role-plays and learning activities in a real context (street; cafes; markets).

Activities and excursions:

Some of the leisure activities in Porto are free of charge and some of them imply an additional cost (that includes only the transport fee or  museum entrance etc.)

The activities can include:

− Port wine tasting

− outdoor sport activities

− traditional festivities

The school also organizes activities outside Porto (for example excursion to the Douro Wine Region – World Heritage), which require additional cost for the students who are interested to join.

Standard Portuguese Course

20 classes / week, 4 classes a day in the morning

Extensive Course

10 lessons / week

A lighter option of the intensive course, 2 classes a day. The classes take place either in ine morning or in the late afternoon.

Minimum duration: 1 week

Courses start every Monday and the levels are based upon the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Portuguese Host Family

The school works with a selection of Host Families, experienced in welcoming foreign students and enjoy sharing their culture and helping them to improve their Portuguese.

This is a self-catered option.

Apartments

There is an option of Shared flat (not only with students of the school) or Studio Flat. They are located in the centre of Porto, just a few minutes from school and are usually part of renewed historic buildings. These options are self-catered.

COURSES 2022

Registration fee: 40€

All class materials are provided by the school. 1 lesson = 50 minutes. Lessons that are not held due to bank holidays are rescheduled to other days/ times of the week.

Students who may require invitational letters for Visa purposes are to pay for an administrative fee of 100€.

ACCOMMODATION 2022

All accommodation options include bed linen and towels. 1 Week of accommodation includes 6 night, from Sunday to Saturday. All accommodation options are self-catered.
