Our partner school in Milan, ELLCI, Ente Lombardo Lingua et Cultura Italiana, is defined as one of the most prestigious schools of Italian Language and Culture in Italy. It has more than 25 years of experience in teaching Italian to foreigners; the courses offered are in small groups of students and care for the needs of each student, granting a fast and efficient learning.

The premises are spacious and comfortable and are located in a central area of Milan, just a few steps away from Corso Buenos Aires, which is one of the main shopping areas of the city, and can be easily reached by the public transport.

Courses are held in the morning, afternoon or evening for all levels of Italian, from absolute beginner to advanced. The teaching method stimulates learning through direct communication between teacher and student with regard to each student’s age, cultural background and goals.

Activities and excursions

The school offers a variety of excursions and activities, many of them are free of charge and others must be paid extra. Free excursions in Milan and its surrounding will give you a possibility to practice Italian in a friendly, social atmosphere and completely immerse yourself in the Italian language and culture.

The excursions in Milan can include:

The school also organizes guided visits to places outside of Milan: of naturalistic, touristic and cultural interest: seaside and mountainside locations, small towns on lake shores, alpine villages, farms, where Italian special food is produced, nearby cities like Bergamo, Mantova,Vigevano, etc

INTENSIVE COURSE: 20 lessons per week, 4 classes a day (mornings or afternoons)

The course consists of 20 lessons of Italian in groups, Monday to Friday. The schedule is either 9.00 am to 1.00 pm or 2.00 pm to 6.00 pm – you can chooe the one you prefer.

SEMI-INTENSIVE COURSE: 10 lessons per week, 2 classes a day
The course consists of 10 lessons of Italian in groups, Monday to Friday

Timetable: 2 pm – 3.30 pm or 6.30 pm – 8 pm

Minimum Course duration: 4 weeks (1 month)

EXTENSIVE EVENING COURSE: 4 lessons per week
The course consists of 4 lessons of Italian in groups per week, two days a week: monday & Wednesday or Tuesday & Thursday

Timetable: 4 per week, in 2 lessons of 2 hours each, from 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm.
Levels: A1 – C2
Minimum Course duration: 3 months

SENIOR COURSE 50+ : 15 lessons in group per week.
3 lessons a day from 9.30am to 12.30pm.

Incuded in the course price are various excursions and visiting Milan.
Levels: A1 – B2
Course duration: 1 or 2 weeks

Bed & Breakfast – Italian host family

Single rooms available in a B&B with an Italian host family, option of breakfast only or halfboard. Intended for those who would like to experience Italian daily life and practice their Italian also at home.

Shared apartments

Single or double room in shared apartments, self-service catering. Kitchen and bathrooms are shared. Bills included in the price.

Campus

Campus is located 8 minutes to the school by the subway. Single rooms available with private bathroom and shared kitchen area: all the rooms are equipped with change of linen and cleaning, free internet connection and all the kitchen appliances. In the campus you will find also a laundry service.

COURSES 2020

Enrolment fee: 40€. 80 € more than two week.

The price includes: Textbooks and teaching materials, tutor available for any questions, level test, certificate of assistence,  internet access, participation in the socio-cultural activities.
