Faro

Faro, the capital of the Algarve, which is said to be Europe’s most scenic coast, offering beautiful, long sandy beaches that framed by rocks on either side.

Faro is a charming old town which boasts varied cultural offer and a vivid nightlife. The historic area of Faro is particularly attractive and is still surrounded by the Roman walls which date back to the 9th century.  Faro also has a beautiful marina, and full of outdoor cafes in pretty plaza’s which make ideal places to relax after your Portuguese course.

Worth visiting is the protected natural park that is one of Portugal’s natural wonders – Parque Natural da Ria Formosa and nearby beaches, lagoon and the island sands of Ilha de Faro.
