Our partner school is located beside the most important commercial street of the Porto center. It is close to main attractions a metro stations and other public transport. The Douro river is within 15 minutes distance from the school. The school is located on the 2^nd floor of a commercial building, occupying the whole floor.

Activities and excursions

Various activities and excursions are conducted during each week. Some of the frequently offered activities are: boat trip on the Douro river, museums, visiting Port wine cellars, music shows, movies, trips to the market and different sites in the city.

Weekend excursions are longer in duration and further away. A small fee is usually charged for transportation, and in case of dining out students will pay for their meals.

All the activities are conducted in Portuguese and in English by our guide or by one teacher.

Intensive Standard: 20 lessons per week, 4 classes per day
The course consists of 20 lessons, 4 classes classes of 50 minutes every morning, Monday to Friday
Minimum Course duration: 1 week

Super Intensive: 30 lessons per week, 6 classes per day
The course consists of 30 lessons of intensive course, 6 classes of 50 minutes every morning and afternoon, Monday to Friday

Combined Course

The course consists of 20 lessons of intensive course, 4 classes a day + 1,2 or 3 individual daily classes, depending on your needs.

Portuguese language + Surf

The course consists of 20 lessons of intensive course + 5 surf classes a week from Monday to Friday in the afternoons or on weekends (depending on weather conditions). The lessons are 1,5 hours long. Available from beginner to advanced levels. Board, wetsuit, insurance are included in the price.

Portuguese language + Portuguese wines

The course consists of 20 lessons of intensive course +wince lecture sessions in the afternoons on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The programme includes visits to local wine cellars and vineyards.

Courses start every Monday.

Timetable: 9.00 – 13.00.     Super intensive and Combined: 9.00 – 13.00 and 14.00 – 16.00

Portuguese host family

The individual room with a family offers the advantages of permanent contact with the foreign language and culture and have at your disposal a quiet place to retire to rest. Lodging with a Portuguese family includes breakfast, bedroom linen and bathroom towel laundry. Rooms are generally furnished with a bed, desk with a reading light and a wardrobe. Homestays may be apartments or detached houses situated in a good residential area. Travel distance using public transport: 10 to 30 minutes.

Bed & Breakfast

B&B combines the comfort of a hotel with low cost. They are ideal for students who prefer independence. Location: public transport to school max.30 min. Single and double rooms available.
