Our partner school in Sicily is located in Cefalú, a magical village situated in the north coast of the island, less than one hour from Palermo. The Italian school was founded in 1986 and since then has trained in Italian language thousands of students of various nationalities.

The teacher use communicative method and teach real-life situations in order to provide more dynamic learning and respond better to the students´ needs.

The school is only 100m from the sea, and the facilities we provide for learning are peaceful and stimulating.

Activities and excursions:

During the stay students can take part in many different activities. Every week we organize a free guided tour through Cefalù. You can also take part in Italian movies nights and grills at our Villa Caterina free of charge.

There is a plenty other activities that require some extra cost such as:

• Cooking classes: Sicilian cooking represents the best of Italian cuisine. To introduce you to this vast world of fascinating cooking, the classes include an introduction to the history of the cuisine and continue on to the preparation of a variety of dishes. And finally of course, we all eat together enjoying good Sicilian wine!
• Boat trips: they take about three hours with flexibility on request. Those who would like to snorkel and discover a bit of the underwater world can do so.
• Sport activities and Nature tours: trekking and horse riding
• Tours in Palermo: tours to Palermo Markets and Palermo by night
• Wine tasting
• Excursion to the Archaeological Park of Solunto and many more!

STANDARD INTENSIVE COURSE:

• 20 lessons per week, 4 classes a day
• The course consists of 20 lessons of Italian in groups, 4 classes a day Monday to Friday.
• Levels: A1 – C2
• Minimum Course duration: 1 week

COMBINED COURSE:

• 20 group lessons + 5 individual lessons, per week ; 5 classes a day
• The course consists of group course + one extra individual class on a topic chosen by the student a day. 5 classes a day, Monday to friday.
• Levels: A1 – C2
• Minimum Course duration: 1 week

SUPER INTENSIVE COURSE:

• 20 group lessons + 10 lessons in mini groups per week ; 6 classes a day
• The course consists of group course + two extra lessons on specific topics related to culture, art and business a day. 6 classes a day, Monday to friday.
• Levels: A1 – C2

Duration of unit: 45 minutes

Minimum age of students for group courses is 17.

The standard group courses are held from 9,00 am to 12,15 am (from Monday to Friday).

Shared apartment

Student will stay with area, terrace or balcony, garden, and two or three bedrooms. Each apartment is equipped with a TV, washing machine, air conditioning, internet and Wi-fi.
There is a great view overlooking the sea. The distance to school is less than 1 km and to getting to the old town takes at most 10 minutes.

Guesthouse / Homestay with Italian host family

By ‘guesthouse’ we mean what is often called homestay or stay-with-family accommodation. But this doesn’t always mean “standard” Italian families. It sometimes happens that women who live alone have rooms available for people who come to Italy for an authentic Sicilian experience and who want to discover the real Cefalu from the inside.

Sometimes the host is a man (usually entrepreneurs) who like to open their homes to students. A very popular accommodation is the apartment of our friend Simone. It is within short distance of the school and only 100 meters away from the beautiful sandy beach. Near the apartment you find many bars, restaurants and shops.
